Roman does your work on the web.

Ask in plain words. Roman opens the sites in tabs beside your conversation, clicks through them and comes back with the answer. It asks before it pays, deletes or sends anything.

It works the way you would, in the browser.

Roman uses the web as you do, in tabs and signed in, and it stops to ask before anything risky.

Works in your tabs

Roman opens sites in tabs beside your conversation, reads them and brings back the answer. The tab it's using is marked, and Stop is always there.

Show it once

Press Show Roman and do the task yourself in a tab. Roman turns what you did into a workflow you can run again.

Runs on its own

A workflow runs when you ask for it by name, on a schedule, when something happens in your apps, or when another tool calls its link. You choose which risky steps it may take while you're away.

Asks before it's risky

Roman goes ahead on its own and stops only before paying, deleting, sending to others or touching passwords. You answer in one tap.

See one job done, start to finish.

The film follows a request from the ask to the answer, then to the workflow it becomes. 1:16, with sound.

Everything around it

The rest of the app, a short clip each. Pick one, or let them play in turn.

Tell Roman what it's there for, like Sales or Finance. It sets the role up, and each role keeps its own instructions, apps and workflows.

  • Tell Roman what it's there for, like Sales or Finance. It sets the role up, and each role keeps its own instructions, apps and workflows.

  • Roman keeps notes on how you work, so you never explain the same thing twice. Read them, edit them, or tell it to forget.

  • Roman reads your connected apps and brings you what needs doing, with the work already planned. Do it, or let it go.

  • Dictate instead of typing. While Roman works, line up what's next, or press ⌘Enter to change course now.

  • Bring your sign-ins from Chrome, Arc, Brave or Edge. Sites open signed in, for you and for Roman, and they stay on this Mac.

  • Roman finds the emails that need an answer and writes the reply. You read it, then approve or dismiss it.

  • Press ⌥⇧Space over any app, include the screen and ask. Roman answers from what it shows, like the numbers in an open budget.

  • Press Record when the meeting starts and Stop when it ends. Roman notes what was decided, who owns each item and by when, and drafts the follow-up.

Why Roman

Your browser when you're there. The cloud when you're not.
With the app open, Roman works in tabs on your Mac, signed in where you are, and you can watch or stop it. A workflow that runs on its own gets a browser on Roman's servers for that run.
You see the cost before and after.
The $100 plan is one balance of 10,000 credits a month for the whole workspace. A long task tells you what it expects to spend before it carries on, every answer shows what it cost, and each workflow shows its average run and a month's estimate.
You can read what it remembers.
Roman keeps notes on you and your work. Open Memory to read, edit or forget any of them, or export them all.
It doesn't lose the start of a long conversation.
When a conversation gets very long, Roman sums up its oldest part and carries on, so what you said at the start still counts.

Works with the 3,000+ apps you already use.

Connect them from the Apps screen, or plug in your company’s own tools through an MCP server, and Roman uses them beside the web. It changes something in an app only when you asked for it, and you can disconnect any app from the same screen.

Ready in about 2 minutes.

Roman for Mac runs on macOS 13 or later, on a Mac with an Apple chip or an Intel chip. About This Mac, in the Apple menu, says which you have.

  1. Install

Open the download and drag Roman into Applications.

  2. Open it

macOS asks once whether to open an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open.

  3. Sign in

Enter your email and the code Roman sends you. Then hand it a task.

Before you download

Is it safe to open?
Yes. Roman is signed and notarised by Apple. The first time you open it, macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet; choose Open.
Do I need Slack?
No. You sign up inside the app with your email and the code Roman sends you.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with an Apple chip or an Intel chip, on macOS 13 or later. The download is 135 MB to 141 MB.
What does it cost?
The first month is free and needs no card. Then it's $100/mo for your workspace, not per person: 10,000 credits a month that everyone in it shares. If they run out, Roman says so and stops; there is no overage bill. A card is only asked for when you decide to keep going, and you can cancel in 2 clicks.
Will Roman pay or send things without asking?
No. Before it pays, deletes, cancels, sends something to another person or changes a password, it stops and waits for you to choose Continue.
Can it use the sites I'm signed in to?
Yes. Bring your sign-ins over from Chrome, Arc, Brave or Edge. Passwords you save stay in your Mac's Keychain, and the app types them in after you choose Continue.
Does my Mac need to stay on?
No. Workflows on a schedule, reminders and long tasks run on Roman's servers with web search and your connected apps, and workflows and long tasks open a browser there when they need one. What they find waits in your Inbox.
Can I show someone what Roman found?
Yes. Share makes a read-only link to the conversation as it is now, and Unshare turns the link off.

Give Roman the next thing on your list.

A pricing comparison before Monday’s meeting, a brief before a client call, the invoices that went overdue. Ask, then get on with your day.
